The Top

The Carmen top is a versatile piece that embodies both strength and lightness with its ties to knot in the front or in the back and its butterfly sleeves. When the ties is on the back, you can wear a bra with it.
The top is named after the absolute emblem of flamenco: Carmen Amaya. Of gypsy parents and modest origin, she grew up in the Somorrostro, a poor district of Barcelona. “My life and art were born from the sea. The first feeling I had of movement and dance came from the rhythm of the waves.” Few people know that Carmen was self-taught and that her talent became undeniable at the age of four. Her father, a flamenco guitarist, made her dance for long hours in bars and taverns, developing her unique style. Her talent made her known quickly, dancing for the King of Spain, the Queen of England, the American President… Traveling through the most prestigious theatres in the world, she captivated the attention of all, forever marking the history of flamenco.

This piece of exceptional quality will  travel throughout the years in peace, and so to be passed down to your daughters, nieces, sisters… For a new life!
