The Headdress

We make our Frida headdress from the scraps of the garments we sew! Talk about being sustainable! That allows us to reuse every bit of our deadstock fabrics! This one matches perfectly with the Marcelle top!

As you may have guessed, it bears the name of the greatest representative of Mexican Art of the twentieth century and authentic feminist icon: Frida Kahlo. A complex, interesting, moving, personal, and above all universal figure. Admired by many not only for her painting but also for her strong personality, her life would be decribed as a world of feelings and an example of perseverance.

This piece of exceptional quality will  travel throughout the years in peace, and so to be passed down to your daughters, nieces, sisters… For a new life!

The Frida headdress is sewn by Claudia, our exceptional seamstresses, with quality and durability in mind. Honoring our commitment to sustainability and ethically sourced materials, all our garments are made using high-quality leftover fabrics from larger couture houses.
