Description

The dress

The Jane dress is one of our little jewels. We used the exact bottom as the Eartha dress but wanted to offer a perfect version for the women who wish to wear bras, as you were so many to ask for it!I added an exquisite detail at the collar, highlighted by a set of gathers, referencing some French Haute Couture’s style. The closure at the waist can be adjusted by two ties and can therefore be more or less tighten.

I named this dress after a beautiful soul: Jane Goodall. She’s an English primatologist and anthropologist. she is considered the world’s foremost expert on chimpanzees. She founded the Jane Goodall Institute for Wildlife Research, Education, and Conservation. She was named a United Nations Messenger of Peace, made a Dame of the British Empire, received the French Legion of Honor and the UNESCO Gold Medal Award!

I had the honor to meet her, and She has this subtle grace and natural elegance that shines all around her. Jane continually urges her audiences to recognize their power and responsibility to effect positive change through consumer action, lifestyle change, and activism: Every individual counts,” she says. “Every individual has a role to play. Every individual makes a difference.”

This piece of exceptional quality will  travel throughout the years in peace, and so to be passed down to your daughters, nieces, sisters… For a new life!

The Jane dress is sewn by Claudia, our exceptional seamstress, with quality and durability in mind. Honoring our commitment to sustainability and ethically sourced materials, all our garments are made using high-quality leftover fabrics from Couture houses.

Our care advice

2 options

1.Hand wash your dress in cold water. To discover our natural advice and tips to help you with the day-to-day maintenance of your dress, click here!

2. We also recommend dry cleaning. This will allow you to keep your dress in good condition.

Consider eco dry cleaning: typical dry cleaning uses a large amount of water and chemicals that are harmful to our environment.
